1995 Peugeot 306 XRDT For Sale

I am selling my 306 as it is surplus to requirements. I have used it since I came back from Cambodia but its duties have now be taken by a Xantia.

It has got MOT Feb 2014 & Tax Jan 2014, and a decent spec with PAS, airbag and front electric windows.  

 

1.9 XUD turbo diesel with Bosch pump so 45mpg plus veg oil friendly.  

 

Work carried out in the last 3 months includes

• Cambelt
• Waterpump, Tensioner and Idler
• Front discs and pads
• Battery & Earth strap at front
• Glow Plugs
• Primer bulb, fuel hoses and diesel leak off pipes
• Intercooler seal
• Fuel, air and Oil filters
• Aero windscreen wipers
• New Beat 190 MP3 stereo fitted
• Comes with a set of Peugeot alloys and a set of OEM alloy wheel bolts. Tyres on them are knackered.

Not so good bits

• From cold it is a bit smokey at startup (slight air leak allowing diesel to drain back), but soon clears
• MOT advisories are low tyre and track rod ends (two track rod ends included in the sale)
• Lacquer peel around the passenger side rear door
• Bodywork has a  marks in conjunction with age
• Needs an Aerial fitting

clutch is reasonably light, my missus can drive it easily.

Will the transmission take the torque?

He managed to mangle the diff with the raging horses from the ailing 1.7i pez lump at Shitefest this year. It's fixed now - time will tell with the XUD.
