Nissan Sunny Saloon lives. (Ignore)

Due to the impending delivery of a horrible LPG Astra Micra K11, I'm now not looking to find a new keeper for the car I had decided that I would never sell.

Such is life.

Car is located in north east england. East of Newcastle, on the Coast. Massive discounts available for people who have to travel for collection.

1987 Nissan Sunny 1.3 (N13) 4 Door Saloon.

6 Months Tax

MOT 04/03/2014 (4 Months)

Car is just under 55 thoustand miles, is my daily transport and has never failed or disapointed me in any way.

Fully seviced and waxoiled at 52 and a half thousand miles. Battery is recent as shown. New Halfords wiper blades recently fitted.

1.3 engine is autochoke carb, opperates exactly as it should, is sprightly and economical. Currently returning a genuine 39.mpg on all urban driving (though I drive like an old man).

229100.png

Insurance costs me £150 fully comp with Peter James.

Uses no oil, coolant, blows no smoke, pulls like a Scammell and flies like a hypersonic wasp.

Tyres are very recent and all have many millions of miles motoring still ahead of them.

Brakes are cock on, gear change is silken, clutch is high but i cannot persuade it to slip. Ive tried, but it bites as it should

Car is a saloon with a massive boot and has the added bonus of folding rear seats, to give you a very large load space. This is an essential feature for anyone looking for a saloon car that also needs a massive load space and folding seats.

Car is povo spec.

Keep fit windows, manual mirrors, no rear wiper, no PAS, no central locking, no ICE, no abs, manual pillar mounted ariel.

There is however an in cabin boot and fuel cap and release lever. (OMG RIGHT!?)

Bad points:

Drivers seat bolster is worn through.

Headlining has sagged and has been pinned up.

Small nick in one rear door top.

Interior LED clock is non functional. Does come with a spare. Which also fails to work.

I'm hoping to prise £550 out of an Autoshiteist's tightly clenched fist.

(comes with free AS sticker, Haynes and handbook)

Feel free to make offers, but be prepared to told "no" politely if your value doesnt match mine.

I know a lot of people say it, but the car is absolutely reliable and needs for nothing.

Other than a seat bolster repair.

Rare enough to stand out, bland enough to blend in.

Thats all I suppose. Any questions, just ask.

I like that. No money and storage at maximum capacity.

Thanks for the bump anyway!

Bumps cost nothing and are a great way to contribute positively to an on topic thread.

Guess you won't be sticking this one in QC then, lol.

I dislike your wiper blades.

Now I realise that Colt Seavers is the former Barry Shitpeas. Great car this, I love it

That looks a corking little motor. What's with the sports steering wheel in one of the pics, hardly in-keeping with the elderly corner shop owner circa 1995 look..

I'm 6 foot 4 and the steering column is non-height adjustable.

A dished wheel gives me more space and a much more comfortable driving position. The standard wheel litterally pressed against my legs and having the car in 5th pretty much trapped my knee between the gear lever and steering wheel.

I don't want it, and I don't even want to know why you're wearing my dad's trousers.

What's the location though please? if you've already mentioned this. then soz.

A car owned by a man with creases in his trousers can be bought unseen.

Come to think of it, I have rarely seen his forearms.

Tynemouth.

This may well be claimed as 'Newcastle', depending who lives there. They lay claim to everything that isn't theirs.

Free seaside bag of chips and can of warm pop with every car purchase.

I said when you introduced this car that I was impressed with how it had survived.  It looks just as good now as it did then.  Somebody from this coast please buy it, then we can get mine alongside for a brochure shot. Anyone know what happened to that green Bluebird, btw? ;)  We could do the whole range then!

Your Jag also contained those three letters in its registration. O.M.G.

That thing's changed hands more times than Kryten.

The Jag is still in the hands of the lad I sold it too. Hes been trying to sell it for a while.

It was a good car, but I prefer the Sunny.

If the Sunny was meant to be a partner for life then your wife must be shitting herself that she's in for the chop next!.

She can cook and has massive boobs.

I can't think of any way to improve on that, so she's safe.

We've got a small rigid lorry where I work.

The last three letters of the reg are OFM.

I'll leave that to your imagination, but it's what drivers normally say when they get it, normally because it's got a poxy Central London delivery on it.

Off topic rambling. Many apologies.
