Rad weld type additives

My SD1 has a slight coolant leak into the passenger compartment behind the passenger glovebox - TBH it looks a bastard to strip everything out as I cannot even see where the leak is coming from. I know that the matrix is still available, but the pipework not, hence I am reluctant to go messing and break something.

Is there anything available that wont clog up the cooling system and make the expansion tank look like somebody has shat in it a' la radweld?

I have never tried K seal so I do not know if it is any good - in the past I have walked away from prospective purchases due to have an expansion bottle full of radweld.

Any advice?

My citroen garage recommend Forte Leak Stop - have had it in the xantia for years putting off the heater matrix replacement.

Used Kseal in past on Frontera diesel that had shat its head gasket slightly, was still ok when i sold it about six months later.

Another vote for K Seal. Used it in a mark 1 Ka that had a slightly steamy rad, to good effect.

Another WINNAR in my book is this little bag of goodness:

Used on many, many Pintos by me, back in the old days. I posted some of it to a member of this forum some years ago. I don't really know what it actually is - it looks like wee iron filings. Whatever it is, it's very much FTW.

another vote for Ce-lit from me, used it in the Bluebirds old rad and it lasted quite a while before I replaced the rad with another one.

the only success I have had with these products was using wonder weld on a triumph acclaim with a cracked head . lasted for the 6 months I kept it.

Surely this is the Autoshiter's only real solution?

Have used Radseal, Bars Leaks and Wynn's Radiator Repair with success. I should point out that the Wynn's Radiator Repair went in a rad that resembled a seive and half the fins had fallen off. I consider it very much FTW :D
