For sale: 306 diesel estate

1999 Peugeot 306 diesel estate.
It's the 1.9 non-turbo model with a Bosch pump.
45mpg & runs on veg oil which is either £1 per litre or free!
Taxed end of December 2013.
Great runner.
New clutch in last 500 miles.
Towbar and electrics
Power steering
Central locking.
160,000 miles, nothing to a Peugeot diesel

MOT about to expire, I know it will want a horn and two headlight bulbs but I have NOT taken it for another MOT as I don't plan to keep it. If you want to pay for and arrange an MOT before you buy it so you'll know what it wants then that's fine by me.
Needs a good tidying up,
Sold strictly as it stands., Nice little earner if you put it through an MOT or grab yourself a cheap diesel estate

£250, cash on collection from Chester.

I've always liked these and I'm amazed you've had so much difficulty selling it. I already have something similar in my life, so it's no use to me sadly, or I'd DEFINITELY have this etc etc. ;)

if anyone does buy this and fancies a meridian half leather interior.... let me know, I have a spare one, front rear seats and door cards, that I can sell

Is the interior for an estate or a hatchback, D-Dubya?

Alan: I've not really struggled to sell it as such, only put it back up for sale yesterday and getting some interest, though sadly most of that is from the 'wud u tek £120 tonite' cockhead crew on another website.

Yes I bet you have,

what is it with selling cheep cars that start an airwave barage of texts an emails.

I wish you luck as I struggled with mine plus I have seen my old pug up for sale already at £895 chancer

It's the 'lowest common denominator' thing mate, much discussed previously on here. I've just had a mildly amusing exchange elsewhere with a penniless moron who offered me £200 for it. I just ignored him and replied to someone else which enraged him a bit and he demanded to know why I didn't read his question. I merely asked why he hadn't read my advert (it clearly stated no offers) and now he says he doesn't want it! That sort of made my morning because he can't afford it anyhow! Same website, different user: '£150 for the Transit'.

Once again, it's down to penniless fools who've watched too much 'Bargain Hunt' and they know the price of everything, but the value of fuck all. I've got an engine crane here and it's no bother splitting the 306 up, just a waste of a potentially decent car.

I reckon you'd bypass all these dickheads if you got a fresh test on it, made it sparkle, and put it on 'trader for £795 or something.

I would chief, but I honestly CBA. I've got to sort the Corsa out now so that can go, as there's a few quid in that one. Transit now will be going too, I've seen something (with wheels, but not Autoshite material) that I want to buy!

Could you stick on ebay for spares or repair?

Or would that just drawn in more cockheads?

Posted

Nope will get him about two hunna if he's lucky as that's what happened to mine.

Might be worth more to break it after all

Posted

Or some fucker with a turkish address will win and never contact him as what happened with my landie. Then he may even get emails for 3 weeks after from sri lanka still ofering to buy it.

Got someone interested now who seems genuine. Time will tell, of course!

I've finally cleared out all most of the shit that lurking in this car now and I could do with it going soon if anyone's interested? It's pretty bogging inside and out but starts on the first turn of the key and still has loads of tax.
