It's what comes with world fame isn't it? Doilywobbler is an internationally published writer, explosive_will was on Scottish tellybox etc etc, the weirdos will find us. I bet proper celebs like Noel Edmonds and Gareth Gates have to deal with shit like this daily.

What on earth is going on here of late?

Seemingly, we seem to have quite a pool of intolerant over-opinionated offensive jobs on here. What is the point? Seriously.

There are many, many ways of coming across respectfully whilst maintaining your opinion I.e. 'Nice car but not my cup of tea' or 'having owned/driven one, I really don't like these' etc.... these are nicer, easier and better ways to come across but sadly that's too difficult to understand for some here. Peoples opinions are thier own but I do ask people to try and use thier brain before responding in such a manner. Sadly, I doubt such a message will easily penetrate some thick skulls around here.

The Hunter has made it this far in life so it's gotta have been pretty well looked after. Plus, the Hunter was no worse or better than the Rover 800, which frankly is a fairly shit car <- this coming from a multiple Rover 800 owner and Rover 800 nut (Dugong and FPB7 respectively having visited mine and seen the amount of Rover 800 memorablia I have can confirm)

Anyway, back to HUNTER APPRECIATION.....

Boobydoobydo - You are indeed a fella who can induce jealousy with regards to the motors you aquire.

The Hunter is so nice, it's certainly a museum peice. I'm sure under your care it will continue to receive the attention it so deserves. Man, you've even got the mysterious king of mint old cars 'thedoctor102' giving his appreciation!

Oh, and Cheeky Girls - Yeh, I probably would.

Let us consult the Book of Shite, 1:23, thusly:

"If thy chariot doth not stink,

of oil, of fuel, of thy radiator's drink,

and doth thy remould tyres not exhibit cracks, ye,

it shall not be worthy of thy epithet - shite".

Penance: 50 miles in a BMW X6. Then go away.

I did think this was quite clever though, although given the standard of the rest of his gibbering it was probably unintentional:

how far can the hunter trace its rootes back

FWIW, I've had two Hunters and (very briefly) a Mk2 Cortina, and I found the Hunters to be a far more pleasant means of getting about.  The Topaz had overdrive and would sit at an indicated ton, and they go round corners far better than you'd expect, too.

Hi. Anyone know whether this car is still around? Does anyone know where it is or what condition it is in?
