John F Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 A mate of mine wants to replace his 1996 (N) BMW 318i, four-door in Maroon with something a bit bigger, probably a 7 Series. Shitefest '13 attendees may have seen this fine automobile, here it is on the left in one of the SHITTEST CAR SALE PICTURES OF EVAR: I'll have details of it and more pics at some point over the next few days, it has a bit of test & a few months' tax and drives quite nicely. The general idea is to offer it on here with its bridge price as the starting price (plus the value of the tax if needed), it will go to the highest genuine bidder at the end of one week. Thus avoiding any need to deal with ebay mongs. GRAB YOURSELF A BARGIN! DON'T WATCH JUST BID !!!1!!1 etc.

John F Posted October 6, 2013 Author Posted October 6, 2013 Right, here are some more pics. It's apparently got MOT until 10th November and about 5 months' tax, although that isn't included & will be cashed in if not wanted. I asked my mate to list the car's good & bad points, this is what he sent me: Bad pointsNeeds new exhaust as current one is attached with a coathanger.Needs oil change and new front tyresDoor card on drivers side loose just needs some plastic card pins getting.Big dent in front wing from daft woman hitting it.Boot has black shit still stuck to it from spoiler that may be in the garage. Good points The registration plate asks "why be you?" I've driven it a few times... it does drive quite nicely and it seems fairly solid. I welded a patch on the back of the o/s sill for its MOT last year but the rest of it was pretty good. The cloth interior is tatty, and there are a number of small dents and scratches on the bodywork. Mileage is about 116,000. IIRC the rear arches were wobbed up when matey bought the car about 3 years ago but they must have been done to a reasonable standard as they're still pretty good. CBA checking the price of scrap at the moment but at a guess this Beemer would fetch £150 over the bridge, so that's the starting price if anyone's interested.Whoever's offered the most by 8.30 next Sunday is the, and therefore a, WINNAR!

John F Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 272 watchers and no bids. Reminds me of a certain Pug 406.... Ha ha!! 405 though, you obviously haven't been watching closely enough
Tetleysmooth Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Ok ok. Your mate's beemer looks like far better value than the 405 though. Is it a manual?
John F Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Bollocks, I'd forgotten about this. Anyone interested? £150 takes it.
Tetleysmooth Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Surely somebody for a hundred and fifty nicker..... I only have auto's unfortunately.
Hertz Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Cover it in newspaper and it'll fly out the door
John F Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 Hehe! The price is £160 to anyone called Hansel btw (wanker tax). beko1987 1
John F Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 Right, this Beemer is getting bridged tomorrow. Matey is going to drive it from Yorkshire to Dorset, collect his new 735i and weigh the 318 in at the scrapyard next door.
John F Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Well, my mate has now collected his pristine, 69,000-mile BMW E38 735i and this bargain 318 went over the bridge. He actually got £154 for it, so you lot could have made EASY MUNNY by buying it for £150. Lolz.

John F Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Cum over as many cars as you like matey, this Beemer has been bridged
overrun Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Cum over as many cars as you like matey, this Beemer has been bridged looool. I have a mate like that. He likes cars too much. I am sure he is gay for them. Like 'that' Range Rover Classic picture.
John F Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 It was probably for the best. No, it was a genuinely good car and a shame it got bridged.
