The Good:

 

Runs great, Had no issues running all over the country with a full load.

Auto Box Changes smoothly

Tow Hook

Turbo version so not so slow brick

Can be insured on classic for £100 a year

Long 9 month MOT

 

 

The not so good:

 

Its a bit tatty

Has a few dents, marks on it all over

The only thing I can that might be against it for you Eddy is that there's not enough cylinders (it has a turbo though) and it may be a tad low for Mrs_Ramrod.

I have to admit, those are not really issues.  I've had a 2.3 non-turbo which was perfectly satisfactory, so being 4 cylinders short doesn't matter that much.As you say, the turbo (all being well with it) should compensate nicely.  Mrs Ramrod won't be getting in it very much as we have the Tacuma for that specific purpose.

I'm trying to resist, I really am.  Thank goodness there's been no mention of road tax, or detailed photos......

 

I don't need another Volvo.  I have two perfectly acceptable cars - one of which came from here! - and no driveway.  Rawy, I may have to call you and let you talk me out of it...

2.3 turbo really does make it shift, auto suits it too.

 

I'm sorry to say it has 12ths tax on it currently but it's not included at that price.
