Picked this old girl up in May, this is how it looked when I got it home

It went in to the bodyshop a few months ago and finally got it back on Sunday (1st October):

Interior was given a quick vacuum (but had gotten grubby in the work since the shampoo in June, so needs to be vax'd again:

Picked up some genuine rear 3 piece mats in July from ROC 60th Anniversary autojumble in Bewl, back in June (also picked up spare body parts):

Unforunately I couldn't find genuine front mats so bought a set of four tailored mats off ebay to use the front two:

Thats all for now, plenty more for me to be getting on with!

Had a spare few hours today, so cleaned the interior and then inside all the door shuts boot shuts etc, then cracked on with a quick clean under the bonnet, could probably put a few more hours into the engine bay but for the time I put in i'm pretty happy with it:

Picked up a load of 25 bits today off a chap from Renault Owners Club, came home and was planning to clean the car but weather has been on and off so used the time to sticker it up a bit :)

Well the ISO adapter, and din pocket haven't arrived yet so couldn't put my alpine head unit in, but picked these Rockford Fosgate Punch speakers up from a chap on edition38, they sound fantastic.

Installed them in the rear:

Got a few odds and sods together recently, decided against installing the alpine head unit and keeping it OEM, so added a nifty veba fm Modulator to the car, and picked up a remote control for my ipod.

Ipod RF Remote:

Installed the modulator behind the ash tray, (easy access if i want to change the frequency):

RCA to 3.5mm lead running to the glovebox:

Peeled this sticker off the box for the remote:

Sorted out the sounds for the front, got some rockford fosgate FNQ 2614s for a bargain price on ebay:

Look at those cones!:

Some engineering required to the standard speaker baskets:

Don't quite fit behind the oem cards and grills!:

Fosgate Grills, look nice and simple:

I'm removing the bigger rockford fosgate front speakers and refitting standard speakers behind standard grills, and also moving the Aux switch so the car looks 100 percent standard :)

I like the TXI.  Plenty of poke, but basic enough that there isn't too much to go wrong.

Its a great engine but not as torquey as the 8v lumps, so you really gotta rev it to get the max potential. Its fun though once its going, i'm on the hunt for a 2.2 bottom end that will make it a real monster!

Brilliant. When I asked for' MOAR OV THIS' yesterday, I was not expecting another thread on another Renaut 25 from the same person. However I don't mind. Top bombing sir.

How many do you have, or are you going to surprise us? Will there be another thread with another one tomorrow? I personally cannot wait until we get to the Monaco.

I had first refusal on a loaded 2.9 baccara but I let my friend buy it to restore it. I may buy it from him when its finished, but I think he's falling in love with it haha! I will probably end up buying a few more of these if I can snag them cheap enough.

I had a 2.0 TXE with duff autobox that was broken for spares, but we ended up breaking it at the guy I bought it froms house, then scrapped the shell, this was only because I had just bought the v6t and couldn't have another 25 cluttering the driveway up haha!

Brilliant, love these old Frenchies.  I've got a clutch for a 2.0 going spare if you want it, I'll only bin it otherwise next time I clear out the garage.  Only snag is you'd have to collect from South London, no point if you're miles away obviously.

I'll take it dude, I live in bromley so not a million miles away

Wow! That is really nice, I love all the little touches on it you’ve added, like the stickers. Those speakers are nice and non-intrusive as well. You’ve added some really tasteful mods to it.

Love it too bits!

Cheers for the kind words Alan but i'm a sucker for keeping this OEM, so going to be putting smaller speakers back into the front with the OEM grills on top. I'll also be relocating the AUX FM modulator switch to the ash tray and refitting a blank. The only visible mod to the car then will be the rear spoiler and the steering wheel :)
