Retroshite meet Sunday 7th July Fife Scotland

We are having another retroshite meet on the 7th July at 1pm.

Location is Prestonhill quarry, Inverkeithing, Fife ky11 1ds

 

Previous meets have been successful with a decent range and amount of cars turning up, we usually seem to get 30-40 cars.

We try to think of interesting locations to hold our meets, so far we've had a derelict farm and petrol station. This time we'll be using a disused quarry that is an excellent location for automotive photography.

I tried to find this and saw the horizon and the lada on the road but couldn't pin point the location and I couldn't get tinternet on the phone. I ended up in north queens ferry .

That's a shame. It's a bugger to find, maybe written directions would help, if we're doing it again.

I sympathise entirely with the lack of mobile interwebs, it's a common problem here.

Aye Iain the Lada was smart, my neighbour had a very similar one when I was growing up, brought back a lot of memories! Alan's Uno was really clean, a nice car, the Horizon was mint too

Thanks for coming along or attempting to, I think I counted 6 Autoshiters including myself which was an excellent turnout for  the forum.

That is truly a great range of cars. It's amazing how shite compliments each other wether it's a Jag or an Uno.

So it's Autoshite on one side, Retroshite on the other! My high level brake light is a symbolic bridge between the forums (fora? forae?)
