John F Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 The front end looks like it's from a 1977 - 1984 Suzuki. No idea what model though. I first thought it was an early GS750 but the disc is on the wrong side.

purplebargeken Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 I love trikes and have lusted after one for years. There was a really stunning Reliant based trike in the now defunct AWOL magazine. It was designed from scratch by the owner who was a postman. Odd isn't it the things that you remember. It was very, very nicely done and not OTT. The only things that I would have done on your lads trike would be to have used some chromed front indicators and perhaps blacked or anodised the fork outer tube. Just my personal choice of course. Bloody nice job he's done of it IMHO.

Im not a fan of trikes Im afraid ( they seem to take all the worse bits of motorbikes - getting wet, getting flies in your teeth, bugger all crash protection) with all the worse bits of a car (Sitting in queues of traffic being to fat to filter). That aside, I am in awe of anyone who can build something that looks so nice and works.

purplebargeken Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Trikes can be amazing things for bikers who are disabled, and no longer able to go 2 wheeled. I like 'em. Chris Ireland used to do all kinds of mad shit re: trikes.
