Anyone going to Stockwood Park show in Luton on Sunday?

'Over 1000 historic and interesting vehicles'

I'll hopefully be there in my Citroen Mehari - please feel free to mock.

Wow. Some awesome stuff there. VW 412 (or 411?) and a Scootacar. Great. Now where are the photos of your Mehari?

I went along...it was quite interesting, and thanks for the pictures Captain. But I am slightly hurt though....my car happens to be the light brown one NEXT to the Viva you took a picture of!

Sorry about that. I will try harder next time.

The VW 412 was apparently quite rare, not many in the UK, this is an early one and the only 4 door or something like that. I just liked the looks of it.

Here is pretentious Mehari picture dollywobbler:

A few more local to Luton car show pics - this one is 'Classics in the Walled Garden' at Luton Hoo, which is more a posh car and wicker picnic basket do that it is a chod fest.

There were a few interesting motors in between the MG's and Ferraris. And there are worst ways to spend a sunny Wednesday evening, so here goes:

Citroen Car Club meeting at Kettering. Not a huge number of cars, but some of interest.

Not sure if we have unit had this before, but this car and camper combo is worth a look. The plane bit is a camper fitted with fold down table, chairs and bed etc and still has all the instruments and controls in the cockpit bit. What's not to like?

Ah, forgot you are Mr Tim! Jono's old Mehari - I once got scared silly in that on some Belgian hairpins. Much hoon and no doors = squeaky bum time.

That Ami 8 (smooth front wings rather than ribbed, I think that's the main visual difference between the 8 and the 6), my goodness that's pretty much perfect.
