The other half and I went to Crete in 2000,01 and 02. I was spotting shite way back then (and even before that) Here is a selection from 2000, I'll add the other years as and when I scan them.

Enjoy!

Well I thought they were pretty cool...

They are, don't be put off by the lack of response.

I've not been to Greece since 2008, when Mrs_L and I got married we stayed in Chania in a hotel near here, IIRC the place with the Coke awnings is now a 'Goodies' burger / cake / pie place that do very good snacks to set you up for a day in the sun 8) Theres still an awful lot of old stuff kicking about in the Greek islands, I really want to go back.

I would imagine that the Dauphine is low mileage then. :)

Do keep 'em coming, I love old pics of cars that were chod even then.

The writing on that van's epic!

It reads "NO MORE PASOK [socialist party] ONNED [youth organisation of main conservative party] ND [the aforementioned conservative party]". Presumably the ONNED ND is meant to be a signature, but it reads rather like he's against all of them.

This is when you realise how bad you've got it with old cars! When you go on holiday and you'd rather take pictures of old cars than your loved ones. I wish I'd taken a picture of the look my wife gave me when I was lining up a shot of a Fiat in Spain last summer! Great photos BTW

I am unable to come up with any good reason to go on a holiday abroad aside from either buying or photographing old cars.

Usually the rest is shit, and you realise you spent a shitload of money just to get to a place where the beer is worse.

That's what happens when you buy package holidays. I mean, Spain's a massive country with loads of history as well as strong modern culture. Most UK visitors to Spain, however, end up in a shitty village on the outskirts of Marbella where there's nothing to do apart from swim in the sea which (at least in July and August) is hot enough to make a nice stew and full of toddlers pissing in the water.

Poli Bloody Kala !! it's just like "home", here.......

Can't bring myself towards traveling to a country where people think it's funny to poke a cow with spears until it drops dead, or throw a donkey from a church tower.

Makes me want to do the same with the people living there.

You could always photograph old cars.

Not many Euro NCAP stars for that Innocenti, then.

Brilliant pics, keep 'em coming if you've got more.

Is that what it is? Thought it was the front end of a Fiat 124/Lada... I'll fill my container with the Minx Californian and the '54 Ford please!

Thought it was a LNA though could well be wrong. Fair to say it didn't crash well mind.

Nice pics.

Here's a non-mangled one. Note the apparent strength* of the B-pillar.

Right you are, I did do that double take as was not entirely sure what my eye was detecting.
