I have had a request from a good friend of mine who is looking for a car. She is a single mum, with not a great deal of monies from the Sheffield/Rotherham area.

 

Ideally looking for a 5door of some description with a budget of no more than £800

 

What have you guys got?

Who was it that had a Punto for sale on here recently?

Was it Warren G Claim? I might know of either a mk3 fez coming up soonish with a long MOT but it's only a 3 door and it's a carbed one so I can't imagine it being all that suitable for your mate.

Exactly, she doesn't have to travel anywhere - Cav bungs the price of a train ticket on the car cost (remembering to haggle from £13 to £7) and enjoys* a wonderful* day out in South Yorkshire.

Failing that, deliver it for free but "slip the old pink moccasin into shot" before you leave. Even the score and all that. Single mum remember. Nudge nudge. Eh? Eh?

Sadly my Punto has been provisionally sold. I have already shook hands on the deal and the buyer is a family friend. If he backs out, and I'm pretty sure he won't, I'll lob it back up on sale here first. Anyway, I quite fancy his tidy Kia Sportage part ex he's giving me!
