warren t claim Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Due to the fact that I'm seriously downsizing my fleet my beautiful 406 is up for grabs. MOT'd till June (I think) and taxed until the end of January so you can pick it up and drive home. £300 secures this beauty.... Exhaust is blowing at the backbox also causing antipollution warning on display, one of the rear doors needs unjamming and a new catch and a front ball joint is knocking over bumps. It returns 40mpg in my hands and has taken me all over the country without any problems.
binhoker668 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 That's proper fit!Somebody should buy it for Cholmondeley transport. Yez can park beside myself and Eddy....
retrogeezer Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Andrew Greenwood shows are pre 98 this year I think so it's too new.
Charlie Croker Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Now that's worth the money!!! Good luck with the sale bud.
purplebargeken Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Bloody nice looking vehicle that! Is it not a tad too cheap? Good luck though, I am sure it will not be long before a new home is found for it. What else ya got. Thank christ you are too far away from me Ken
warren t claim Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 Bloody nice looking vehicle that! Is it not a tad too cheap? Good luck though, I am sure it will not be long before a new home is found for it. What else ya got. Thank christ you are too far away from me Ken Never knowingly undersold! Funny you should ask though..... 53 plate Gold TDi130 up for sale next weekish, £950. Will be sold with a full MOT and taxed till the end of April. High Miles (195K) Punto going to a new home shortly, provisionally sold for £420 subject to a new MOT. Taxed till the end of Feb. I'll let you know if the sale falls through.
Barry Cade Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Gah, That Punto is a corker. I looked for a decent one of these for ages and gave up and bought a Starlet.
warren t claim Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 What are you going to be left with, a bus pass? Not quite! Also for sale and pics to follow....... Rover 25 1.6 petrol. 6 months MOT and about 3 months tax. £300. I'm picking it up tomorrow and can be collected anytime after Wed/Thurs. Tidy little thing. Run until the tax/K Seal runs out and weigh it in for £160.
warren t claim Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 In all fairness, I doubt that every one of them will find happy buyers on Saturday morning so I'm bound to be left with something that takes longer to sell than the rest. Or is saying that tempting fate?
warren t claim Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Rover is a year 2000 model btw. Metallic gold I think. Best offer takes it away.
warren t claim Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 Yeah but where have all the cheap cars gone? Lol, upon investigation the Rover has HGF OMG ISSUEZ. Anyone want to beat the weighbridge value by a fiver?????
warren t claim Posted February 2, 2013 Author Posted February 2, 2013 Right, here's an update on what's happened so far... Rover 25; Phone didn't stop ringing but started to piss the odd bit of green fluid after being parked up for a while. Sold for £295 with the faults declared. Peugeot 106. Sold to CAVCRAFT as a project for Junior to work on so hopefully it'll be featured again on these pages and with a bit of luck may turn out to be an AS bike and sold on within these pages. Peugeot 406; Sold for asking price to an exporter. Off to Zimbabwe probably for $250,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Totally pain free sale conducted at 6.00am. Golf TDi; Provisionally sold for £850 when it's MOT'd. Cash not changed hands yet. Punto; Sold for £420 at the end of the month to a colleague subject to his part ex Clio not being totally borked. Cash not changed hands yet.
Lord Sterling Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Sweet results there Warren (subject to cash changing hands) How on earth did you end up with all those cars? Was it one of those 'seemed like a good idea at the time' type purchases? The Peugeot is the 2nd car you've sold for export, ever thought about dealing in exports?
