Shite plans for 2013?

My 2013 will involve me continuing to make the 940 quicker than it has any right to be, for the shits and giggle you understand. EscRot will also make some form of reappearance, what sort of state it'll be in, Im not sure, but it will see the inside of an MOT station next year *crosses fingers and toes*

I would love to be able to bring a piece of British Shite over here to the UAE. It would probably have to be LHD and should have aircon (otherwise I'll only be able to use it 6months of the year).cars over 25 years oldcan be classed as "classics" which make them much easier to bring in.

So, does anyone know of a good, LHD shite- mobile that fits the bill (early 827 perhaps?).

I'm gonna get me some NU RIMZ for the 406 V6 koop, as well as attempting to drain and refill the sealed-for-all-eternity auto box and similar 100k-related shiz. Might also stride into the kingdom of SIR MAXIMUM POWER by nacking off the rear set of cats (say WHAT now?) and cobbling together an induction mod that involves bits of Screwfix ventilation ducting. Probably shouldn't though as the car is already packing at least 40bhp more than any I've previously owned, a novelty that has encouraged me to drive like a cunny.

I'm also hoping the Mondeo Mk3 estate Mrs_HHH has been gamely trying to destroy for 9 years finally dies so I can saddle her with something more stupid.

Really do need to get my arse into gear and get the Yugo sorted. Also want to sell the Punto and buy something older, but I am expected to keep it for a while longer

Setting fire to most of it if I don't get my way.

Retire the Polonez from daily use. Use a Samba as daily. MOT the Roller and the Monza. Buy a Sierra Cosworth and DON'T buy any more bloody cars that aren't a Cosworth, Samba S or a Tagora. That's about it I think!

Two things I'd like to achieve in 2013.

- A Rover P4.

- A Rubber Cow (Austrian for a BMW motorbike with a boxer engine).

Oh, and my BX 19 TXD will be up for grabs in Spring.

Finish restoring my two piece FSO Caro truck by end of April.

Start my Caro Hatchback in May and finish that by October.

Meanwhile get two thirds of the way through the restoration on Bennos 125p pick-up.

Sort the Mechanicals out on Richieg's Polonez.

Then in October get SambaS's Polonez in my workshop and start the restoration on that before it falls to pieces :D

That's pretty much 2013 sorted.

Also scout round any Ex FSO dealerships if they are still in business doing other things, to see if they have and old stock left over from their FSO days.

Actually I want to get a City Rover and maybe a Street Rover too. I reckon the former have had such a bad press they're probably half decent cars, quite often that seems to be the case with vehicles rubbished by the general public.

MoT, register and sell on the two I imported from Cyprus, and replace them with a minimum of one, and maximum of two, shite cars that have to be a) big; B) comfy; c) automatic; d) significantly more powerful than is really needed. They also need to be NOT grey or beige (or any part of either spectrum), NOT diesel and NOT a VAG product in any way. Contenders are appearing, both on ebay and in real life, so all I need is some cash to enable me to make a move when the chance opens up.

Really must get the Celica MOT'd,at least then it will help me decide what to do with it.

Might also enquire, funds permitting, about some storage/workshop for fettling etc, although finding time between kids, work, home and stuff could be difficult.

Probably won't be buying any more shite for a good few months. 306 is T&T'd until April, so I'll probably hold off anything until then, unless Mrs S's Beetle sells, then I'll need something economical and at least semi-modern.

Of course, all this will probably go to shit, and I'll end up arsing about with unsuitable chod on my driveway whilst the Celica sits for another year, and Our Maud gets increasingly pissed off with me.

Finish the welding on the A55 MK1, and start on the paintwork.

Get the A55 MK2 MOT'd and Ebayed.

Start the Atlantic's bodywork, a corner at a time so as not to get overwhelmed by the amount of work.

Fit new front shock absorbers, Midget 3:9 diff and a new battery to my everyday A35. And sort out the iffy headlight.

Lastly...don't buy any more old cars!

Hopefully get the Lancia Y10 all welded up and back on the road for mid-summer, or possibly August.

Get the new engine in the Fiesta so it has the power that the chassis and suspension is crying out for.

Continue slowly improving the Alfa Romeo as it is a damned nice car which I envisage keeping for a fair while to do daily duties.

Get the Rover on the road and water tight with the paintwork sorted, then waft around winning at life.

Sell one of them. I don't want to and I have no idea which one but it is impractical for space reasons for me to have four. They simply don't quite all fit.

I badly need to boost my income so that I can crack on with the Scimitar Coupé lack of funds have rally been holding that back for the last couple of months. Progress has been made but its at nowhere near the pace I wanted.

So the plan will be to have a coupe on the road in time for summer, I don't care if it looks ropey the requirement is that Its drivable and legal...
