Rare early model would love to be saved

Over on the blue forum theres a complete MKII Escort 1600 Ghia its a very early car, they were available from showrooms in March 1975 and this car was registered on 21st March 1975. This must be one of the oldest MKII's left. Its been stored in a shed for a good while and its either available complete or it will be broken for spares. Don't know what they want for it but seeing as they may break the car it could be cheap(ish). It has some damage from storage but panels are easy to find. I love my MKII Escorts but don't really have the space right now to get it, by posting this it makes me feel im doing my bit to try and save it. An Autoshite hero (someone like Richieg) is needed here.

Depends how bad the underside is,but if it is a desirable car to save,then it certainly seems worth saving,although the temptation to get more money from breaking sometimes gets the better of people

I know it goes against the Ethos of Autoshite somewhat, but have you tried a main Dealer for storage inside a heated building? Why not try to get Ford themselves to sponsor/loan you capital/space etc.... I would try this for the RIGHT Land Rover..... Although I already have it!
