How many facelifted cars look better than the original?

MK4 Fiesta's were a tad ugly,but the ones with body colored bumpers and front fog lamps weren't as miserable looking as the plain bumpered ones

The Fiat group are generally shite at facelifts excepting maybe the Uno. However I think they got it right with the Alfa 166:

In 2 cases here we don't have facelifts... The square W123 Mercedes headlights came from the beginning on the 6 cyl. models, they only dropped the round ones lateron.

The 944 in the pictures are simply 2 different models, the 1st one shows a Lux or S, the other one is a S2 or Turbo.
