Never mind the brochures, I'm well impressed by the brown & beige carpet! :D

It's a rug!

Cracking pics too, good wee camera the D40. Mine served me well, particularly after I'd had a good read of Ken Rockwell's piece about it on his website.

Penza? Score!

The best bargains on the brochure stands seem to be the "outsized" ones.

I've not been to the NEC classic show since Uni. The train ride back to Coventry was always a pleasure, especially when you sit next to a normal human and spend the journey cooing over a Hyundai Stellar brochure.

Re. Nikons, I have a D50 with a mean little 6mp sensor, it's ridiculous how cheap current 14mp Nikons have become.

Yes, I've been after a Penza brochure since owning the 323 a few years ago. I also picked up a Honda 1989 price list printed on a4 paper from Smith Bros Honda in Fleet, I was working there in the bodyshop at the time!

Made it to the nec yesterday (sat). Avoided car park charges by coming by train. Show was excellent, but so mobbed that moving anywhere was a real challenge. High points for me were the Spitfire in ex lock-up condition, Datsun Laurel, Rover JET car, Commer Cob, BX's (obviously) and a very nice 1300 X1/9 very similar to one I smoked around in in the late 80's.

Sorry I did not say Hi to Mr Dollywobler but I wasn't sure who was who.

An excellent day, however the 15 minutes wasted on Mike Brewer in order to see how they were getting on rebuilding the minor pick-up I will never get back.
