hennabm Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 ^Is that a TL or just the L version? Those early ones had the umbrella handbrake from under the dash. My old fella had an H reg one and I had a J plate TL. Latterly I had an M plate TS - nice
nigel bickle Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I'm much less than happy with this. After your plaintive request, I dug out, cleaned up & despatched you a plain Renault 12 wheel (& tyre) -as promised. That cost me £12. I now find that you havent bothered to arrange delivery /collection -so I am now to receive this wheel back -and have had a further £7.50 deducted from my card. Cant see me offering to do you a favour again -and this should act as a warning to others. So -an hour extracting, cleaning ,wrapping ,preparing & despatching -and around £20 down on top. And for what. Angry. very angry.
Split_Pin Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 One out of five spares rating means you should accept offers of parts and favours whatever they are! Not good at all, I hope this doesn't put you off helping out other Rennists though. There may yet be a logical explanation....

As you can see all the postings I put on this Site as 'Space Otter' have been removed in a 'spam' clening exercise. When we arranged to swap wheels I contacted you thu private messages as Space Otter and didn't have another way of contacting you. I asked the couriers to redeirect wheel to workplace as I hadn't appreciated that the delivery was a to my home add only and I wasn't there. I was told I couldn't re- arrange delivery and had it had to be done by you by which time I'm afraid my profile on here had been deleated and I had no other way to contact you. I'm sorry for cock up but really not my fault. Still would like wheel and have TS wheel here (without tyre) ready to swap with you. Please PM me as 'andrew 1963' or call me on 07730 560019. I will make sure you are not out of pocket. Cheers Andrew

andrew1963 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 spam bump Exactly what the fuck does this mean?
Ben_L Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Andrew, it's an effort to bring genuine posts to the "front of the queue" and banish the spam posts into the archive. Every time a new post is made on a topic, it moves to the front (i.e, one of the first posts you see) and therefore bringing it up before all the spam crap. It's nothing unusual, it's known as bumping or BTTT (Back to the top)

trigger Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Chill Andrew! When the forum was getting hammered by spam recently a few members tried bumping proper posts back up, bit pointless i know, but thats all it means.
