Also I think it would be good if we all park in the same bit of car park if possible. Though I guess this can't be too near the entrance or latecomers won't find a space there.

Very pleased to report that a certain shambolic BX estate WILL be on the stand! We'll also have some nice BXs. We'll be hiding behind the 2CV lot so watch out for us.

I'm living long enough in this country to not spend 18.50 on something that doesn't give me faithful service for the next 20 odd years.

I'm planning on going the Friday, both me and the wife have booked the day of work, the ticket prices are a bit eye watching though, I been entering all the online competitions to try and win a pair!

I'll be there on the Saturday, can't wait If you get there early enough park in the station car park rather than the NEC event ones. Much closer and I think a bit cheaper too. Not that 3 quid makes much of a difference when you're spending 60 odd quid on fuel!

It's not cheap, but you do get a hell of a lot of cars per pound. The Yugo club were there last year! It doesn't get much better than that.

 

Be warned that food/drink is also on the pricey side. Naturally the Autoshite way is corned beef sandwiches wrapped in tin foil and a flask of lukewarm tea.

 

Someone should organised an Autoshite stand next year. That should raise a few eyebrows. That is not a volunteer statement. I've organised a stand this year. That's it!

Is there the bike show too this year? Last year's ticket price was made slightly less bitter by a classic bile show on the same ticket

Yes there is. I second parking at the train station. Did that last year. Under-cover all the way from car park to halls, which is more than can be said for the regular punter parking.

After RRG being a bit of a disappointment, and not getting enough runs up Santa Pod, I need a good show this year other than the LMC.

I think I will change my plans. I have a job to do at work fairly near Birmingham tomorrow and it seems that the rest of you are all going tomorrow as well. I will only be there for the afternoon but I won't have to pay for petrol as it will be work.
