For Sale - 1990 Nissan Sunny 3dr 1.4LX - £375

Here is my lovely Sunny which I bought at the start of the month due to a last minute 'I'll have that' purchase.

The tax runs out at the end of the month, but I'll put 6 months on. It is also taxed til mid September of next year (no advisories!) ! (!).

It has on the smallest amount of surface rust here 'n' there, it comes with Nissan rubber mats. I replaced most of the interior plastics yesterday - the previous owner was a painter/decorator type and it had small paint splashes on the gearknob area, but this has all been replaced, also put a standard Nissan stereo in - I also replaced the non-working digital clock, to go with it's electric windows, and central locking. Also, previous owner had the clutch replaced four months ago. I've sorted the ignition timing out today (it had a misfire under load, ie in fifth). P.O. replaced all ignition components (dizzy, cap, rotor, leads, plugs).

Apart from that, there is nothing else wrong with it.

I've since bought a Micra K10, and will no longer drive it.

Car is ideal for the footballer Ryan Giggs due to the number plate - please contact me if you are reading this, we can come to some kind of deal.

Car is located in 'da unit' in Wallasey, Wirral.

Have a look here for some photos:

Eeeerm, shouldn't MM5 be buying this if he needs something that works?

Posted
He hates it, (possibly due to it not needing any work). :D

Who gives a fuck, it's a car that works, that what he wants isn't it?

Providing its not rotted out under the rear arches, that looks good value for money, and them engines are very very solid lumps.Cheap honest transportation

Arches are fine!

Have done the wirral -> warwickshire -> wirral run (300 miles round trip) for two weeks now without a problem.

Heater is great, interior is tidy, etc.

I've had the utter privilege of driving this Sunny and it really is a sweet old thing. Very light non-PAS and a nice gearchange.

That's a nice car for the money.

I have owned one Sunny, my Dad has owned TWO...all white too!

The thing I remember most about the car was the leccy windows packing up in February! Great build quality though and I always thought it was very harsh that it was the car that Top Gear seemed hate the most.

Nope, as we require free space at "Da Unit" due to grumpy landlord, plus i've already spent my cash 8)

But a working car could go and from said unit, obviating the wrath of said childish flid landlord.

Ah well, we shall have to see what you've bought.

From memory, its mainly sill panels and under the rear arches/inner wing that the tinworm likes to attack.Should be a nice little car for someone, and despite being old, still has some modern refinements

If only you weren't so far away etc. The Wirral is like ten minutes from here and about a fifteen minute walk to railway station, twenty minutes on train, then one minute to walk off platform to meet you in carpark. Andf I can't let you bring it to me because my missus is allergic to white cars.
