Bet those old Diesel Car mags would be a good read; it would be be interesting to see how far they've come in recent years.

Estate Car magazine? Not familiar with that one....Now that I'm old and boring, I'd probably find that quite interesting! :D

Don't be so bloody daddyish. On the other hand, estates are still cooler than those despicable minivans.

Years ago, I'd never have considered an Estate, let alone one with a diesel engine....Need the practicality now though....Must admit to having looked at a few Scenics/Picassos recently, but in the end I couldn't do it....Had to go for a proper estate! :)

Nice collection, there's a few there I would have gone for too, manly the What Car? and Autocar magazines, the What Cars? are a good read.

Estate Car Magazine had great articles about things like an XJS custom estate. In fact any car that was converted into an estate.

I was 22 when I bought an Olds Custom Cruiser. I must have been very practical minded even in my formative years.

20/21 i had 2 cavalier mk2 estates and before that a subaru estate
