Now for sale for £950, I though there was a queue of about 10 shiters wanting to buy this?

I got the impression there was a distinct lack of info forthcoming on its location and contact details. But then I CBA to read through the whole thread again.

There was definitely at least 3 people in this thread who said they wanted it.

I am glad that, in the event, I stayed clear. The effort to reward ratio looks a bit unfavourable.

This seems a bit odd. The OP on RR had no idea it was for sale on here! £400 still seems cheap. £950 seems a bit much given the work still needed, but that's still not exactly a vast sum of money given how much fun these things are to drive.

I am lost, I cant see what it needs. Have I missed something? Maybe a bit of a tart up here and there but its got a long MOT etc.

IIRC the original ad was because it was spotted at a garage and might have been up for sale. The price was a guestimate. He now has it up for sale for more than exepcted but still probably a fair price for a car with full MOT. In the current market I doubt he will get it but you never know, somone might be looking for one of these at this exact moment.

950 seems fairly plausible to me for a tidy one of those with a full ticket, £400 seemed to me to be getting into 'too good to be true' territory.

It's certainly not an outrageous sum he's asking but it does look like it'll need paintwork sorting (though the piccies aren't the best). £400 was ridiculous and had me gnawing on my fingernails and considering the mitigation potential of a big bunch of flowers... Guess that was just a misunderstanding at the garage.
