Check the build sheet for it. It looks like it might have an LSD plus I recon those Recaro's are probably an extremely rare option as they look like factory fitted E12 ones. I'm sure later e28's have Recaro styled sports seats rather than genuine recaros..

Well this car seems to want to be saved. Put some jump leads on it and some start ya bastard and it fired up! Needs the tank draining and a new fuel pump though, wont stay running but quite unbelievable really.

I hate to say it but it's worth way more in parts than as a whole car. They don't make strong money unless they're m5's or m535's but there lots of people wanting to upgrade the ones they've got.

I bet it's rotted through the inner wings and the front jacking points will be squishy. The LSD (if it has one) recaros seats, m535i body kit and that Alpina steeting wheel alone would probably see a grand.

This is for sale should anyone feel the need to restore a lovely old BMW. We got it running but it needs a petrol pump. It would be in the region of £500 we are in the process of applying for the V5C. We are a breakers, but it is my opinion that this car has survived this long so needs fixing - and I have too many as you know.

 

It is absolutely doable, it needs a new front cross member and would benefit from new sills, the jacking points are a little shot.

 

Don't all rush at once now will you.
