Right, NOT definate but could be. I shall potentially be returning from either Glasgow or Carlisle next week and looking for a way home. In stead of piss arsing about catching the train (which involves having to sit near members of the public) I could drive a car or van back if anyone has one that wants shifting that's 1) reliable 2) legal and 3) fuelled up.

Have trade insurance so covered for cars and vans from 1980 onwards.

Surely buying a car to get home is the only sensible option?

That ZT was owned from new by a mate of mine till 3 years ago - knowing how he used to drive it I would steer well clear of it!

75-s owned by giffers

ZTs owned by frustrated middle aged men

If you fancy the Scooters Scoob you can have it for £350 quids! - is in Edinburgh!

You cant reallty grumble on that ZT at 500 quid though... I fancy one.. what would put me off that though is at 82k its very close to the 90k cambelt change which is by all accounts a bastard.

Theres an 02 plate ZT190 on ebay (or there was a few days ago) converted to multipoint LPG at around the grand mark.. seems a good deal to me. Sadly its in Wales which may as well be Saturn for me.

Say what! Wales (not all of it obv) isn't far from here so how about you buy the MG and borrow an A frame and I'll tow the TR behind it to Scotland? CMS will think it's such an ace idea he'll literally give me his Cavalier SRi and I can drive home in that.
