Bit of a bump and another motor for sale from a different friend, If any of you 4x4 lovers would like to chuck this post up somewhere specialist that would be ace :D

1995 Land Rover Discovery 300TDi 3 door 7 seater

good things

Mot October

New (last 1000 miles or so) Brake pipes, pads F+R ,starter motor, tailgate and exhaust. S/H tank fitted and new straps

Heres the best bit, new, properly welded in (and photographed) inner+outer sills both sides, boot floor and plated front inner wings

Unfortunately having spent the last 6 months being sorted out a core plug fell out on the motorway, by the time he'd stopped the engine had overheated and cooked the head. He reckons that the head should cost about £275 but you'd want to be spending about £350ish and do the cambelt at the same time.

He would like £400 for it but is after a Rover 75 estate or a older Volvo V70 to replace it if that would help

oh one five eight eight, six seven two, seven sixty at home in Craven Arms Shropshire or oh seven four ten, six one nine eight five seven when out and about

He's called Tony and is a thoroughly nice chap so please don't mess him about

Bit of a bump for the other stuff as another friend has a van to break

2002 Citroen C15 van 1.8D (XUD)

I've been roped into helping him break this as something on the engines gone pop. He's bought an 04 plate C15 to replace it that wants a few bits, so we may as well take the old one to bits.

Any good suggestions of bits that are worth saving? either for him to keep, me to scrounge for the BX, or to sell on?

Do any of you guys need owt?
