yes and wasnt the orional minor goin to be 3" narrower?

I believe so, yes; hence the obvious cutting-and-shutting on early Minor bumpers, until they'd used up the narrow stock. Issigonis got his wish a decade later though: you don't find many cars narrower than a 1959 Mini, do you?

saluki bronze. i dismissed it at first cos i didnt eant a brown 1! but im pleased i gave it a chance, its got more metalic in than it would have origionally, purists wont like it but i do
