Photo's from the first Ashby Folville car meet (nr Melton Mowbray, Leics). Its on the 2nd Tuesday of the month April-October. Not the biggest turnout mainly due to 'unpredicatable' weather. A pleasant evening nonethess:

Nice to see a Mk1 Escort without a shitload of spotlights.

Some lovely stuff there. That red Escort really shows up how well old Fords look with a bit of rubber on them.... unlike the blue Capri on those elastic-bands!

Good pics boss, but your motor is definitely the star of the show here. I do LOVE that big Riley though, it's in exactly the right condition for a posh 1950s car, flat paint, tarnished chrome but solid and original and lovely.
