SambaS Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Couldn't quite believe I was seeing this yesterday on your group! We're off there Thursday, I'm hoping to have a gander at it. And the many Sambas *assuming we can get permission to do so
DodgyBastard Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I've passed the number on to Ben so you'll be able to arrange a visit and find out what he wants for anything.
SambaS Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Aye thanks, I've just spoken to him and he's happy to meet us up there Thursday. Really looking forward to it. I reckon if I had a field somewhere it would be a similar sight. It's fantastic that he's hung onto them, no matter what anyone else thinks!
Six-cylinder Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Last night I was reading a 1980 AA Drive magazine and in the new car listings was a Portaro Pampas in various trims £7066 to £7733. I had forgotten what they were and had to look them up. About the same price as a Land Rover. sdkrc, Dyslexic Viking, Lacquer Peel and 4 others 7
Adrian_pt Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Difficult to believe, but there is a survivor. (Also a snapped-in-two pickup somewhere on another farm). Being restored, apparently. mk2_craig, JMotor, martc and 13 others 16

goosey Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I believe there’s a version of an ARO or Pamper at the start of this video about 20 seconds in Adrian_pt 1
