that's it in a nutshell..... or pay £3000 for a filter thing to go on your exhaust pipe or it's £100 a day to enter the zone... i think it was boris's way of making money because he failed to expand the congestion charge zone thats also in place.

is that really true? That's probably a bigger fine than running false number plates..... Shouldn't the punishment fit the crime? It seems you get a bigger fine for some motoring offences now than you would probably get for assault or theft.
