Good choice of colour too!  That blue/green seemed to be very fashionable in the 90s, my Giffer Rover is a similar colour.

Thanks.

Hope to find a few more of those Mondeo.

Fill a transporter full of them in various colours.

What's that Matchbox Mondongo compare size wise to the Majorette one?

Some of you might remember that I recently posted some of my childhood survivors in this noble thread.

Among other, there was this:

After ca 45 years, I thought it might be time to return it to its intended purpose.

Consequently some internet shopping was done and thus today I received this:

And look:

In theory, this enables me to do some phamous philm scene re-enaction:

That mid-60s period of Lesney 1-75s had some proper gems in it all right.

Went to a toy fair in Colwyn bay yesterday.

Not much diecast, especially obsolete stuff - they seem to cater for railways these days.

I recently found this Matchbox garage at a sale.

It's in fairly rough shape,But not too bad.

Plan is to make some new doors out of wood,Maybe with some giffer repairs and "No parking" scrawled upon them.

Looks just fine as it is!   Don't bother with those white metal repro doors - they're shit.

Diecast Tractor shite.

Never knew that Corgi produced a Zetor tractor (first vehicle I ever drove)

I found the two of them at a car boot sale on different stalls on the same day.

Not very exciting I know,But I have a soft spot for the old Zetor.

Would quite like an old 2511.

Today I received two 1/43 Partworks from that France.

They are both Philippe Charbonneaux designs, who, as we all know, went on to design the R16.

Le Bastard was a famous coachbuilder in Rouen.

They built the real lorry from Philippe Charbonneaux's design.

The Pathe-Marconi rig was built by Antem of Courbevoie.

Fantastic stuff.     They remind me of those mad coaches that used to link up with Seine river boats in Paris.   I swear there was one where the bus driver sat upstairs but it was a long time ago on a school trip.....

Could you do a photo with summat else in shot for scale? Pack of smokes will do. I know how big 1:43 is obvs I just don't think I've ever seen a big truck in that scale before.

In any case, I'm buying one on payday

I have a 1/43 scale bus and it is feckin mahoosive, so these trucks must be even more mahoosiveness, and really pretty good VFM when you compare the cost of a boggo Minichamps or Vanguards these days
