Smart wee car. :D

An ex of mine many years ago had a red aircooled one of these and I vividly remember one particular journey where I shared the back seat with her 16 stone rugby playing brother :x

i did hovver over the bin button on that fiat for the daughter and realised she would have just laughed in my face or run up to her bedroom screaming

i thought it was a tidy little car and would have been quite happy trying to squeeze myself in and out of it everytime i had to pop to the shops for cigs, newspaper, and the odd bar of choclate

I remember at primary school, my teacher Mick Weir had a brown 126, along with a blue Avenger estate, and a pair of Nissan Cherrys, one of them a brown Cherry Europe. The bloke was about 6ft 4. Feck knows how he fitted in the 126. Mad geordie he was, and clearly a lover of chod!

The Bis is as likely to spin - lol

Pete - I am normally home by 3.45 every weekday!

The Bis won't be taxed till January 3, but you are welcome anytime - PM for directions and phone number.

We're five mins off 11 or 11a on the M5.

Thanks Campbell. That's awesome as the Yanks would say.

Unfortunately, I'm unlikely to be in the area driving anything even remotely interesting, but I'll be sure to give you a shout :-)

E plate (88) 4 door Pllarless U11. SSS turbo auto.Only one in the Uk, I believe.

Needs a damn good service & a brake free off, exhaust blow & an MOT -then its straight onto the road. Nobbled back means I need an auto -in the short term.

A rare beastie

Cheers - and wow!

it's home - arrived this afternoon.

It seems to be called Freddie - according to the numberplates!

I'm impressed with it - my one complaint is lack of a headlining!

The dents in it look like one of those smart repair places could sort them, the rusty spots look much better than they did in the photos - and a little rust killer and some light touch up will sort most of them.

It runs beautifully, the spare wheel well is intact and the hatch has a tiny hole in one side but is not terminal in the way some I have seen have been! Door bottoms are good, roof is dent free,

Wife and daughter love it!!

I think I like it a lot - definitely a keeper.

Am just trying to decide if I want to tax it tomorrow rather than the 1st. Should I waste £13 to tax it now ...
