My french shite Renault 16 tl tax exempt poss for sale

Hi fellow Autoshiters, it is with the greatest of regret that i have to consider selling my 1971 Renault 16TL I have posted photo's on here a couple of weeks ago so if anyone's interested you should be able to find the photo's without too much hassle. I have had to give up my tenancy and our new house is on street parking, a friend has offered to look after the car but they only have on street parking as well. it really pains me to contemplate selling the car as early 16Tl's are very rare, lets face it most Renault 16's are rare! The car is mot'd until june 2012 and the tax ends in May 12 and is of course tax exempt. The car had a replacement engine fitted in August of this year, i purchased it from Renault 16 guru Mike Stokes in kettering, the old engine had severe waterway corossion, this engine is fantastic and runs superb with no oil or coolant issues! Bodywise the Renault has had a couple of patches on the rear floor and the rear chassis suspension mounts have been replaced, there is some rust to the bonnet and boot edges and some bubbling to the rear doors, the rear panel has some damage but is sortable. Anyone that knows these cars will remember how comfortable they are to drive, the column change gears are a delight, this car is also fine on unleaded and returns 30+mpg. I have a spare skimmed cylinder head, spare shocks, clutch plate, rear shoes, the car has had new rear shoes and wheel cylinders, i have quite a bundle of paperwork as well. Right then nitty gritty time, how much? As ive said im really sad to decide to sell her but i suppose i would let her go to a good home, i am having to face reality that i have not really got the funds to keep this car as well as my everyday motor. I believe she's worth £1100 to someone, i may haggle! Well there you are, the car is in Margate kent, if anyones interested please feel free to get in touch, cheers
