Thanks Lovejoy.

I hadn't seen that french link. There is some useful stuff in there. Some good interior shots. I don't have the original steering wheel or the column shroud. It has helped confirm what I'm looking for and that LHD is no different to RHD. Good to know :D

OMG FRED REZUREKSHUN!!

A few weeks ago I was listening to Radcliffe & Maconie on 6Music. They have a regular feature called 'The Chain' http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/radcl ... the-chain/

A chap they spoke to who had rung in for the chain was a lorry driver, who was unloading in Birmingham after picking up a load of chocolate in France. When they asked where he lived, he said "in my cab", they were a bit surprised by this. He then explained how for the past 6 years he has been living in the cab of his Scania, just going wherever the job takes him...He has no 'bricks & mortar', just the cab of his wagon...

In the conversation with R & M he mentioned a web-site/blog where he posts updates and films about his journeys.

I suppose he's a bit "marmite", you either like or hate, but I must say, I find his blog interesting.

Might as well add this in here... http://www.ceoemail.com/

It's a list of the personal email addresses (and telephone numbers, where known) for chief executives of many of the largest UK companies.

I used the Vodafone CEO's email address to complain about the thoroughly & repeatedly cocked-up delivery of a new phone to me a couple of years ago. Two unhelpful & downright rude mongs were sacked as a result of my complaint, and I got a substantial discount on my phone contract by way of apology. Which was nice.

It's gone a bit anoraky, but Pathetic Motorways served as infrequent entertainment while I was last at university. M64 anyone? :)
