Went along to this today, never been before, so didn't know what kind of cars to expect:

There was an auspicious start with some of the motors to be found in the car park:

DSCN0509_1_zps68b4dfc2.jpg

So interested was i in taking a pic of this I didn't notice the cow shit I stood in:

DSCN0674_1_zps188557b1.jpg

As Roy Walker might say, It's good, but it's not shite. Am I allowed to say here that it excited me?:

DSCN0515_1_zps2d2d25b8.jpg

Neat Fiesta:

DSCN0510_1_zpse9359c8c.jpg

TR7 FTW:

DSCN0513_1_zps002bee93.jpg

It had been ages since I'd seen a BX in metal and plastic. Yet, this wasn't even the only one in the show:

DSCN0517_1_zps0d2e711e.jpg

For the Beta* Freaks:

DSCN0519_1_zps2649aec5.jpg

* May not be badged as a Beta.

Another pretty Lancia, pity the only appeal in the likes of today's Lancia range is that they are all so ugly... :

DSCN0520_1_zps76e56d4f.jpg

... but what is that I can see next to it? PHWOAR:

DSCN0521_1_zps050092ed.jpg

Someone's foot spoils cack handed photograph of Morris Ital:

DSCN0522_1_zpsde8e75bc.jpg

I have an unhealthy obsession with Ledbury Maestros, I actually went well out of my way to take a pic this one:

DSCN0523_1_zps690a9c35.jpg

I love how Volvo even made a (sort of) estate out of their sports car:

DSCN0530_1_zpsa6fe4199.jpg

Floppytop Cortina:

DSCN0531_1_zpsb9548e8d.jpg

This was utterly glorious, of course FOTOSKILLZPHAIL as this photo doesn't convey it's full majesty as I should have stood a few paces the other way and caught more of the side:
DSCN0532_1_zps5e963f7a.jpg

DING DONG Calling Junkman to the BRG Courtesy phone:

DSCN0536_1_zpsdbd60acb.jpg

I really like these, possibly because they look like they've been trod on:

DSCN0538_1_zps88af6c27.jpg

They come second in the 'my favourite Lotus' competition to these:

DSCN0535_1_zps9d334881.jpg

Both Marcos GTs looked fantastic:

DSCN0542_1_zps7cf02a7a.jpg

Scruffy, old Merc had a certain je ne sais quoi:
DSCN0544_1_zps922ed50f.jpg

I liked this Triumph, a bonny and honest thing:

DSCN0545_1_zps699a1a4e.jpg

A Pembleton three wheeler with Moto Guzzi engine:

DSCN0546_1_zpseea4ae5e.jpg

DSCN0547_1_zps6abf578f.jpg

One of the members of our crew reckoned this was a repro thing rather than an actual 1930 Ford:

DSCN0550_1_zps145ce755.jpg

To be continued...

I had my little colt parked just 5 cars down from that scrote    it was a cracking day even treated to a bit of biplane aerobatics

Nice.

I think that Gamma Coupe might be the one Justin Banks was selling a year or so ago.  I was massively tempted, but was too short of funds at the time.  Definitely very high on my want list - drop-dead gorgeous and shite at the same time.

To start the second dump:

food-spills-yogurt.jpg

Very nice XX with bodykit:

DSCN0558_1_zpse49f8969.jpg

Equally nice Montego:

DSCN0559_1_zpsd9c2a94a.jpg

And a Maestro VDP:

DSCN0560_1_zps800724a7.jpg

I liked this :oops::

DSCN0562_1_zpsc7a84959.jpg

This old 145 looked a sweet thing:

DSCN0564_1_zps6bf484a0.jpg

Opel Rekord?

DSCN0566_1_zps11efaa26.jpg

I know nothing about old Ferraris, but have no doubt this is probably worth a fortune:

DSCN0567_1_zpsda8fac7a.jpg

DSCN0570_1_zps799ef779.jpg

I really liked the look of this Vitesse Estate. Factory model or something converted?

DSCN0574_1_zps463e91a8.jpg

DSCN0575_1_zpsad8879bf.jpg

I love these Alvises. Another car for the want list that is well in excess of my available funds:

DSCN0577_1_zps82d5bca1.jpg

Non Rubber-bumpered Sherpa Coupes are not my favourite thing, but had to admit this looked fantastic. The steels are far less common and look much better than the wire wheels, IMO:

DSCN0578_1_zps2cda180c.jpg

I wondered whether this had something under the bonnet to merit the Lotus colour scheme or badging:
DSCN0581_1_zps223914b0.jpg

Benz hearse seemed a fine way to make your final journey:
DSCN0582_1_zps32036347.jpg

Another bang tidy Merc:

DSCN0586_1_zpsad2f807b.jpg

Nice MK3 Cavalier SRi. Saw another one on my way over there too:

DSCN0597_1_zps36f0f599.jpg

This Nova was HOT HOT HOT:

DSCN0604_1_zps42ebc280.jpg

DSCN0589_1_zps67dccd58.jpg

Ha!
DSCN0590_1_zps3049bb66.jpg

Loved the colour scheme on this 2CV:

DSCN0593_1_zpse40081ac.jpg

You don't see many of these. In fact the only other one I've ever seen was a taxi in an episode of Bergerac!:

DSCN0596_1_zpsb0dd04e6.jpg

Mintola Escort:

DSCN0598_1_zpsf0257c74.jpg

This R5 was still on original dealer plates from 'Bass Rock Garage'. They had a Nissan franchise not too far away from me before they folded last year. At the time this R5 was registered (according to the sticker in the rear window) they had 5 different locations across Scotland. I wasn't aware they were so big:

DSCN0607_1_zps8131815a.jpg

The very pinnacle of Anglo-Japanese cooperation:

DSCN0603_1_zpsb7574cdb.jpg

Insert Princess Anne jokes here:

DSCN0608_1_zpsc1bc882a.jpg

DSCN0611_1_zps55bef276.jpg

GOOD LORD:
DSCN0612_1_zps9d3d9e81.jpg

That Ferrari stays just outside our village and can be seen regularly its a bit smoky on over run though.

that ministosity thing is Suzuki chassis and its useless of road as used to be in our local club, note the spare props painted yellow as it eats them

The Fiat, I think aldo135 already posted a pic of it in his Edinburgh spots thread, here is one I took. :

DSCN0591_1_zpsd690602f.jpg

I liked the look this Buick a lot, it is roughly the same size as my house, mind:

DSCN0623_1_zps33ef8ac0.jpg

DSCN0624_1_zps8f4f845f.jpg

A few of the hot rods in attendance:

DSCN0626_1_zps6de4cf1d.jpg

DSCN0631_1_zpsdba52714.jpg

Pontiac GTO caused some stirring in the trouser region:
DSCN0630_1_zps8c88c312.jpg
Wouldn't have thought it was my kind of thing until I saw it in the metal

Charger had some presence too:

DSCN0632_1_zpsc6faba30.jpg

And some Corvettes in front of the Castle:

DSCN0628_1_zps8a305385.jpg

Both of these are a million times better than a Sherpa Coupe, IMO:

DSCN0634_1_zps26410e3f.jpg

DSCN0635_1_zpsbd0608d1.jpg

DSCN0636_1_zpsbe235032.jpg

Really love these Sunbeam Talbot saloons:

DSCN0638_1_zpsa1d6ad10.jpg

A rather interesting juxtaposition:

DSCN0641_1_zpsd46e1a3c.jpg

Eddie Shoestring was in attendance:

DSCN0644_1_zps0698f268.jpg

Bedford CF looked wonderful:
DSCN0646_1_zps9491173d.jpg

It seems Citroen BXs are like buses, having spotted my first one in years, I went on to see this stunner:
DSCN0647_1_zps9f03a16a.jpg
DSCN0648_1_zps55e812ba.jpg

One-off Bentley Estate (though I imagine they would be posh enough to say 'Shooting Break'):

DSCN0652_1_zps4628a183.jpg

Because one can never post enough pictures of Alvises:

DSCN0656_1_zps59ef0c97.jpg

Rover 12:

DSCN0657_1_zps3014bee1.jpg

Lanchester something or other:

DSCN0660_1_zps29f1c95b.jpg

DSCN0664_1_zps355c5cc1.jpg

This little Singer was very cute:
DSCN0663_1_zps7501f846.jpg

A Bristol:
DSCN0665_1_zps7e7cd1dd.jpg

Very, very tidy Amazon:

DSCN0666_1_zpsf7f926b1.jpg

Ford's finest hour:

DSCN0669_1_zpsd2f84c7e.jpg

For sale in the car park:
DSCN0671_1_zpsb3454562.jpg

This machine was hiding behind the portaloo:
DSCN0673_1_zps8389460f.jpg
One of these oddities: http://can-am.brp.com/

Last but not least this was my personal highlight:
