Towards end of October I am going to be driving Scooters steed up north to him in Edinburgh. I intend to buy another car to drive back in and then flog it on when down here.

 

Any of you have anything cheap / suitable Edinburgh / Perth way? Not really fussed what it is but obviously a Jag for £100 would be good !

I'll start to have a look for you - uber shite (maestros etc) are difficult to find in Lothian/Perth and Kinross = salty air has a bit todo with this but Gumtree seems to hide plenty of grade 2 chod - Pugs, Renners, Protons, Rover 600's etc

Today i took back a rare old beast. An escort 1.8 gti estate on an s plate, it will be i expect low mileage as it was when i last sold it a few years ago and it doesn't see much action, just mot'd too. can update with further details when i have seen it in the flesh again. lee

Missus is starting to point out that it is cheaper to get a train or fly back than do this but I disagree! I dont think that she is helped by the fact that still havent flogged the T25 yet.

I would avoid high spec like miele and focus maybe on comet own brand. Foreign refrigeration might appeal with features like ice makers and anti frost but are such luxuries going to appeal when folk are worried about utilities costs?....wait a minute....it IS a fridge you are looking for isn't it?

That old escrote is in, 99k, Its a GTI 1.8 estate. It is mot'd till next sept, and taxed til feb. on the whole very very tidy, but, a scabby front wing (bolt on? ) and some small blistering to lower arches at the back. nice inside, 1/2 leather, what, £450? sounds fair enough doesn't it?
