Time for the June update from the emerald isle of shite, i'm delighted to be finally here on the new forum after a few teething problems, it really does look superb doesn't it? Anyhow here's my first addition to this new Autoshite era, enjoy, some have already been posted on the Facebook page.

Not great really, the only real shite on the roads is pre-97 Starlets, Corrollas and the odd VW, an old Merc or BMW is really a rather rare sight, I've actually noticed a lot of Rovers and MG's about recently, i'm counting about 5 a day, much prefer that to fruit and veg.....

This Carina had about 1 Million* rusty specs on the bonnet, which I thought added to its appeal

 

Maybe the owner is as much as a douchebag as me when i was working on the Lancia and did not pay attention to which way the sparks were flying when gringing metal one day. 6 months later the bonnet was but looked rusty because of all the tiny flecks of rusty metal on it despite being plastic. Took ages to pick them all off.

Right, time to update this thread, shite over here on the Emerald (rainy) Isle is scarce, so your only chances of seeing 20+ years old that isn't a 1993 Toyota Corolla are virtually nil. This meant that on Sunday Mosney, outside Dublin, became the promised land of automotive brilliance, as hundreds of classic cars piled in from across Ireland, some were stunning, others shit, but all worthy of their places in the following collection of pics...
