pbottomley Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 popped over to a local show today, came across the world famous supervan 3, I must admit it was a wee bit of a disappointment I thought it was something of a legend in the ford world??? Now obviously in the press pictures they used the old air brush techniques, because I always thought it looked more like this:
maxpower Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 NO NO NO NO NOOOO the supervan is in the back of the tranny
barrett Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 So great, I'd much rather perv over one of these than the Transit jobby. Needs those gross headlight hood things taking off immediately though, but otherwise it's perfect. Four mirrors are a nice touch that just scream 'mental old giffer' to me (as if driving a Reliant Regal wasn't the sole preserve of mental old giffers anyway)
dollywobbler Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Glad to see one that is not yellow Seconded! Great spot.
gricer Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Transit/Supervan Saw this on the M42 a couple of weeks ago. 1972 Tranny still doing stalwart service for a Reliant spares specialist. Maximum shite points all round.
eddyramrod Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Even the colours work! You could show that in sepia and nobody would notice the difference! Turn up the radio, that's Showaddywaddy!
