Upcoming Fire Sale - Gauging Interest

Right, as my PT job has basically gone to the dogs, some of my more interesting (i.e. valuable) shit will be up for sale soon because I need to get a head start financially on my bills. Luckily my folks are with me 100% on this and will help where neccessary. So if you wanted the Amazon, that's staying. Apologies.

 

Here's a little list off the top of my head. I already have adverts up for the Compomotives and the Jeep Pepperpots and I will get some photos up of all of the other stuff ASAP. PM me for prices \ offers etc.

 

1. Tamiya Opel Vectra JTCC (FF01). Rolling shell for resto with MSC, no transmitter, steering servo and not much else but the original box. £50 collected or £60 posted.

2. Tamiya Lamborghini Cheetah. VGC, very original with a great deal of original packaging. Everything there except the 6V battery. Selling this is gut wrenching but probably quite profitable. Offers before it goes back on eBay.

 

 

 

3. Norev Peugeot 405 T16 Gendarmerie. 1:43 scale, mint and unboxed. I know how much I want for this - £25 posted.

 

 

4. Minichamps Volvo 480 ES. 1:43 scale, mint with clear display case, NLA. £25 posted.

 

 

5. Minichamps Simtek S951 pair (Verstappen \ Brabham) in a single box. Limited edition, scuffs on the case but otherwise blob on. Offers.

 

 

6. Momo Daytona Leather Steering Wheel. 480 fitment with spline adaptor. Near mint, pretty rare. £100 collected or £110 posted.

 

 

 

 

7. 1955 circa Zenith H725 radio. Grubby but complete, works if you have a 110V inverter. £30 collected, £45 posted.

 

 

8. 1951 Zenith H511 Racetrack. Brown, all parts moving but untested. £40 collected, £55 posted.

 

 

I'm going to try and hang on to the 305 for the moment, and frag the white S. Although the ES might go over the bridge as well if I can't get any takers for it. A shame but needs must. Can't quite face the grunting mongs on the VOC forum quite yet.

^^^ This. Though don't expect to pay the bills for a pretty long time. You should get a few quid for photos and an event report, but it won't be much. However, if you get an 'in' somewhere, then you can start sending other ideas/features in. Do your research though! Always used to get sent stuff by people who clearly hadn't ever read the publication I was working on!

Actually remembered that I had some pictures of the kit in question sloshing around on my hard drive, so I'll update the thread now. I'll do a proper FS thread for the 480 tomorrow because I've got some shots of that too.

Probably can't afford it, and definitely can't justify it, but I can't see this car go to frag, so I will dib as a "last resort buyer" if you can't move it for sensible money elsewhere.
