No, seriously.

I am attempting to track down one of my old chariots, as I would like to buy it back.

Car in question is a pre facelift (sloping front) SAAB 9000 S Turbo. This exact one -

I swapped it for a half fucked 760 Turbo and it was one of the worst things I have ever done car wise. It (the SAAB) was later swapped (by its new owner) for a Galant of some sort, after that the trail goes cold. The latest owner of the car, circa 2009 was around 15/16 so it has been declared SORN since 2009.

It was wearing standard 9000 3-spoke alloys when I sold it in early 2009, and I believe that it would still be wearing them today.

I have searched the SAAB forums every now and again hoping it would turn up - no luck, hence my post.

Got any info, call Crimestoppers. Infact, best call me. Or just send me a PM.

Thanks, and ask around/keep eyes peeled etc etc - Craig.

You can, Via Doovla form V888, but wanting to buy back one of your previous cars is not a 'suitable request' for communi, uh DVLA types

LOL @ trig and his tin o'beans, keeping optimistic and hoping its not a fridge and all that :D

The vehicle details for J670 TVU are:

Date of Liability - 01 06 2011

Date of First Registration - 25 09 1991

Year of Manufacture - 1991

Cylinder Capacity (cc) - 2290CC

Fuel Type - Petrol

Export Marker - Not Applicable

Vehicle Status - SORN Due to Expire

Vehicle Colour - BLUE

Depending on if the SORN is renewed, there is a good chance its still about. I'd fill out a V888 form and chuck it at the DVLA with a fiver attached, you'll need a good reason to be requesting info though.

Just tell the DVLA you want the owner details because you want to send the owner a £500 fine for leaving their car 1" over the white line in a parking bay, they'll deffo send you the details then!
