Pete-M Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 This doesn't look expensive at €1200. It's a '76, so it'll have nicer bits than the later Ghias. I love the colour, too. These more-door jobs aren't worth anywhere near as much as a 2dr, but €500 for this has to be worth a shot.. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! €1300 Seller appears to want this gone a.s.a.p, and I imagine at €1300 it ain't gonna hang around for long. Dammit. France again. (Don't know why it's Belgian registered)

Alexg Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 ^ What!!!!! All that for 45 euros??? You pay that sort of doe round here for a leaking, weed and spider infested, Renault 5 sized dungeon in a pikeys playground.

Only running on 3 though apparently, sounds mildly concerning It might not be serious at all. I'm pretty sure these have two contact breakers, two coils and two condensors, just like my 604. If one set of breakers or one coil pack up, you get running on 3. I Bet that they're a fantastic thing to drive.

Basically -got the big kiss off, when i asked some ''specific'' details. Hope you have better luck -reckon desperation must be setting in -although he's not lowered the price..

Pete-M Posted June 7, 2011 Author Posted June 7, 2011 Ok, these are definataly, unbelievably, massively not shit when they're sorted, but Herr Quatsch mit Soße on the ebay thread posted a Delta and it set me off dreaming of my old ones. Just on 60k miles, so should still feel pretty nice if it's been looked after properly. In Italy, €12700. I know it's not an Evo, but they are a bit more hooligan than an Evo. Evo's are just there to blow your licence to smithereens just warming up. Absolutely awful up to about 65 mph when they begin to come to life and want to party, and violent towards your bank balance. They make the Jag look like a paragon of fuel efficiency.
Pete-M Posted June 7, 2011 Author Posted June 7, 2011 Oh, I might just be tempted at this for €200. Described as "Roadworthy".
stormee Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 That R30 is TEH SEKHZ.Yes! A mate`s parents had 3 of them when I was a kid in the 70s, V6, later V6i then. All of them manual! I really liked them, you literally drowned in a world of blue velour in the backseat. I even remember the central locking operated by a drill-like key, then there were electric windows, the distinctive 'click' of the indicator relais and of course the nice V6 roar! Would love to have a ride in a R30 once more...
