Royal Wedding Shite

anyone else intrigued by the shit that the Royals drove on the day?

A 1950 Phantom 4 pricked me up my ears because when was just a kid I could spot a Phantom FIVE at a hundred paces

I nipped out to make tea (to go with my Scotch Egg) & then there was mention of a Phantom 6

Blinked, didn't I?

Then a fag break later the wife tells me that the tall, baldy lad's off in an Aston

'Is that his old man's?' I ask

& fuck me,

there's a blowie on the cards for knowing something about the Royals what Mrs barefoot didn't

Interesting to see that the old girl in the yellow hat/frock combo doesn't swap her cars for the sake of it.

The Royal Cars are three Rolls Royces, the 1950 Phantom IV, used by Charles and Camilla, the Phantom VI given to the Queen for her Silver Jubilee in 1977 and used by Miss Middleton as she then was to get to the church, a later Phantom VI, the Bentley given to the Queen for her Golden Jubilee in 2002, and a later Bentley. They are all Claret and don't have number plates, so that they can't get picked up by Gatsos when they are speeding. The Queen Mum had a succession of Daimlers, all registered NLT 1, and Phil the Greek once had a Lagonda.

That is the extent of my knowledge of and interest in the Royal Family. If that gives you any help in dazzling Mrs B, then I will regard that knowledge as worth the effort in acquiring it :D

Liz is supposed to be quite a keen driver, and has a reputed fondness for large Vauxhall estates, including PA and PB Crestas. I suspect she isn't allowed to drive much these days, certainly not outside her country estates...

Of course Anne is well-known as a Scimitar-lover, having owned several. Last estimate I saw was 7...

You should tell dollywobbler about that, I don't think he knows. It's an important facet of the Reliant Scimitar's history. I think it'll add to his satisfaction driving the Reliant Scimitar when he realises Princess Anne, Lovely Annie Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise Princess Royal is a big fan of fibreglass and glue smells and Ford Essex V6s and overdrives.

Well, honestly, gents - why did none of you think to mention this before...?

....and damp stained beige carpets impregnated with years of Rothmans smoke and cramped front seats and rubbish sterring whells where the rubber becomes detached from the wheel giving the whole affair a slightly vaugue feel!.... oh and jumping out of 2nd
