The Escort is a 1.3 super. At least it might have been before being made to look like any other OSF At least the tyres aren't too small for a change.

I almost did that, back in 98. I went to a show near Preston in my daily-driver 1978 Volvo 244:

The show field was at the end of a long straight uphill drive, and at the top was a man in a yellow vest waving show cars to turn right, and public parking to turn left. He looked at my car, looked at me, and raised both arms in a big shrug. I turned left. Turned out to be the right move, as the field entrance was narrow and muddy, and I wouldn't have fancied it with a big heavy automatic anyway. A couple of years later I returned with a Cadillac...
