CO PART CARS.

The Montego and Peugeot have both been there a while! I wonder how easy it would be to liberate, say, a Talbot Alpine with light front wing damage from Copart?

Bet crashing that Escort Sport made its owner's day

Why would that Montego be a Cat B?

Because it's shit. The assessor just didn't want it back on the road and as a Cat C, nobody is going to pay more than scrap value. The S Class Benz might be worth a go.

I don't care much for Copart. Universal Salvage were great - still insane amounts of money for scrappers, but you could turn up to a physical sale and see what you were bidding for. You paid up and took the car that day, or they would deliver it for a very reasonable fee. It's a fucking nightmare now. Turn up on one viewing day only, bid over the internet against 3 million Eastern Europeans who will pay virtually 'straight' money for a shitter and if you do win it, they no longer deliver - and you'll find a myriad of added dents and bits missing.

In almost every case, you can find a straight car on Ebay for not much more than some Cat C nightmare.

Fugg me, that Escort is quite sobering....

But the windscreen's still intact. He lived.

Wheel and dash stopped the windscreen exit

Bet it still hurt - even if he only soiled his kecks  Is that why the seats are covered :?:

Could be covers to hide tatty seats (or protect tidy ones)? I felt the pain seeing that bent steering wheel, he must've let out a large 'OOOOF' hitting that.
