Reserve not met?

Looks like Richard is having a clear out, he had loads of BXs at one time I think. Anyhow if you got it for around the end price you really can't go too far wrong, top bombing sir.

ah, it was pulled with an hour to go - I paid reserve price - £500 - which for a 46k motor which failed an MoT today on a driveshaft gaiter, and will have full MoT tomorrow, ain't bad!

Everything works - I can sort the teeny dings and Richard is sorting the scrape - so can't be all bad!

More importantly, I can't collect for three weeks and he's happy to store it till then.

I would have liked a diseasel estate but low mileage on one of those is 150k!

£500 can't be bad - though it does show that BX values have finally risen from absolutely bugger all! Just as I sold mine for not a lot...

BX values will rise further - with a little effort, it won't be far off the condition of the 42k one that went for £1355 last week. This will be a proper toy and is likely to be my Citroen Challenge car for next year.

Yours had done three and a half times the mileage and was rather stripey ...

cool but swmbo would not have approved!

that looks really clean - nice one and a sensible engine as well

very comfortable once you get used to angling your body at 5 degrees from the true!

it's my fifth or sixth BX now - I'll get used to it!

;-)

Can't wait to get it - it'll just be a little while till I do.

Nice one, well done. Just a shame it's 31cc too big for the cheap tax rate.

A nice bloke is Richard. He ALWAYS has a lot of BXs, In his garage, on his drive, and in the yard on the farm. He's cutting the fleet down, but there are always more arriving; he saves them from the crusher from all over the country! He was hoping to have a GTi 4x4 arriving soon, I also asked him if he fancied a Mediterranean-market-only BX11. (Yes 1.1!) He said he was in touch with someone in Greece about one. What a hero!

You can tell him if he needs it gone, or if you are delayed, he can bring it up here (as he did with my BX14 from him recently) and I'll run him back down home. I'm just the other side of Skipton. There's plenty of space to store it here for a week or three.

Puts me in mind of the 1990 16 TZS auto in the same shade of grey that my mother used to own. I loved that car :)

That does look rather nice.

A bx is still on my list of cars to own, I just keep getting sidetracked whilst looking for one.
