Justin Case Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Sad news:http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/ce9705e0-5b9e ... z1I6Cn2dK0 Gone, but your name will live on. Thanks for brightening up many otherwise boring motorway journeys.
michiel Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He (his trucks) made us laugh on tour... yelling 'Eddie Eddie Eddie' AbFab style every time we saw one. Silly but fun. Thanks Eddie!
dollywobbler Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Actually, that's Edward Stobart. Eddie was his dad. Still sad though at only 56. Short lived high-speed delivery service. EDIT - my bro in law has just remarked that it's ironic that Edward Stobart's life was limited to 56...
warren t claim Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Ironic his life was limited to 56...... Edited to edit the fact that above post was edited!
trigger Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Sad news for his family. RIP. We have started to get a lot of Stobart lorries appear down the docks, I only loaded one a few days ago with a 40ft box, they are all brand new wagons as well, The last one being PN11 YCY (don't ask why i remember this).
Rhythm Thief Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 EDIT - my bro in law has just remarked that it's ironic that Edward Stobart's life was limited to 56... Call me bad, but that really made me chuckle.
