Anyone fancy a Scenic? (pic heavy)

Mrs_Ceri's Renner Scenic is up for sale and offered here, exclusively, first!

1998; 1.6 petrol; 94000 miles.

Tax 30 April 2011.

MoT November 2011.

CD player; air-con; twin sliding sunroofs; myriad rear seating permutations. Everything works.

Alloys from a later model with Pirellis up front and Continentals at the back.

Usual old Renault foibles:

Sounds a bit tappety;

Rear arches are pretty scabby;

Clutch slips a teeny bit...

Is £650 reasonable?

Lots of pictures:

Maybe that's why I'm struggling to remember the last time I saw a pre-facelift Scenic.

My Dad's still got his - just spent £650 on a brake overhaul, but it still keeps going.

Mines the facelifted one and its fucked on the rear arches too. They all seem to go there (i have been looking since i owned one). Will sort them out over the summer.

Despite the lack of love these things get on here, I quite like it. Never going to set the world on fire for anyone but does the trick for moving shit about well enough and are cheap as chips.

They have quite a thin arch lip and I imagine that's how they go so quick, luckily Renault left a nice big swage line for you to paint up to.
