Is that a Dutton Mariner?

It's a Dutton Commander apparently. The S2 variant in that link looks a bit less fugly, but that may just be because the top's off?

You can just about make out the word Library above the rear wheel arch

Cheers Reg, it was good fun, although I can't take credit for the bus - that belongs to a mate. I have been thinking about getting another van, but it would have to be a good bit smaller than this - I'm just the help on this job.

It is indeed, with a 6-cyl Gardner diesel engine.

A Gardner? blimey I'd have put money on it being a Cummins '300' series diesel as fitted to the Leyland DAF 45 which it must be based on :?

good old tim dutton they used to be built on fiesta running gear but hes just been done by trading standards for selling vehicles unfit for the purpose they were built for or something along those lines and he is still at littlehampton marina

actually saw one on the road this week was coming out of tescos and it was heading towards marina ?? also one in goring just of george the fifth ave
