This is probably the crappiest car I have seen in a long time, quite apart from the comedy level of roofrack overloading there is among other defects also a busted mirror and tin panel where the rear side window should be. The picture doesn't do justice to how rubbish it is. I want to own it.

 

Though I'm sure someone can top this for sheer 'that-shouldn't-still-be-on-the-road'-ness...

Yeah the driver looked like a proper Mr Trebus type. Much like the chap I've seen at the wheel of a super-shagged Panda Sisley 4x4 that has also somehow evaded the attention of the traffic authorities here in MOT-free Jersey.

 

If you look closely at the Scoupe you can just about make out a faint glow from one of the high-level brake light bulbs. That was the sum total of the warning available to following drivers that the car was slowing down
