'59 Ford Zephyr

Does anyone have an idea on the parts supply situation for a '59 Ford Zephyr? I'm considering one for reasonably cheap (pictures before) as a summer driver. They are reasonably uncommon in Canada but does anyone know a good online parts supplier for brakes and suspension bits over in the UK?

front wheel cylinders are about £100 for the 4 fronts (cheaper ones available, but bad castings)

rear wheel cylinders are £40 a pair

I dont think you can get suspension parts as easily

Thanks.

Those prices are certainly cause for concern though!

Looking at the under bonnet pictures it hasn't got disc brakes because there's no servo,so drums it is .

Chap near me restores any Zephyr or Zodiac he can get his grubby mitts on, so if I remember I'll ask him next time I see him.

No help at all, but I just wanted to say I love Mk2 Zephyrs. Really nice ones are fetching serious coin nowadays though. I always wanted one that pale pastel yellow.

That is indeed a 'lowline', very desirable now these big Fords and easy too live with, as already said Newford are a great parts supplier as is Collecters car parts near Heathrow, there always seems to be plenty of MK2 stuff on ebay and it's well worth checking out the scene 'downunder' as these cars were very popular export fodder to Australia and New Zealand where their kinder climate has meant more survivors and repro parts suppliers!.....

Picture of a beasty I used to own back before I got married! Different colour when I owned it and didn't have the wanky scoop on the bonnet.

And, no it isn't made from a Farnham estate before you ask! It started life as a saloon
